  3. You have to downgrade
  4. Threads merged for context. Usually old files being "broken" is a result of things that are out of our control changing, or user error. We do not have the resources or the desire to continuously update ancient versions, if you want to play ancient versions then you have to accept we won't provide support. We are not telling you what version to play, we are telling you what versions we support, as you are clearly not playing a supported version.

  8. Is the server hosted on your PC? Are you trying to have your brother join via the same IP as your friends? If you answered "yes" to both of those questions, you may be entitled to compensa- I mean... that's not how someone on your network should connect to the server, you'll need to have your brother connect using your local IP rather than your external IP.
  9. You'll want to look up a Gradle FlatDir repository, then wrap maven coordinates in fg.deobf()
  10. You essentially said "I tried everything" without actually listing what you tried, what you did list was what you tried putting in mods.toml, not the places you tried to put the logo file. Contradiction. What you put in the resources folder eventually gets put at the root of the built jar.
  11. Don't necropost. 1.12.2 isn't supported anymore, please update and make your own thread to receive support.
  12. 8 is what Mojang ships with the game so that is what Forge targets, I believe 9 and 10 are supported as well.
  13. Merged your threads. This is a Twitch issue, they frequently screw up installation of Forge. Try repairing the profile.

  16. As we're not in modder support I don't think we need to add any extra confusion
  17. The known solutions seem to be temporarily disabling web protect while you download and install Forge, or using a VPN. and of course, filing a complaint with BT.
  18. Looks like a Twitch derp, try repairing the profile by clicking the gear
  19. You'll be better off using the latest snapshot, stable 60 is a couple months old. As for what you're calling "obfuscated", I've explained the process to the best of my ability in this post: An overabundance of SRG-named methods does not mean there's a bug, it means that human-readable names for those methods haven't been assigned yet. Note that all of these names are community-sourced through an IRC bot directly or by proxy through our Discord bot.

  21. This was the original message, the rest was an edit that I apparently didn't add soon enough
  22. Is it your friend that is providing the client log? Because the timestamp jumps about half a day in the middle
  23. Twitch has been known to muck up Forge rather frequently to be honest. If you can replicate the issue again on Twitch, please do the following. Restart the Minecraft launcher Replicate the issue Close the Minecraft launcher Provide launcher_log.txt from (Twitch Directory)/Minecraft/Install and the Forge version json from (Twitch Directory)/Minecraft/Install/versions/(Forge Version)
