I'd like to have modder status, because... I'm a modder! I am the sole creator of the mod Metroid Cubed!



I don't need a subforum right now, my mod's still not too popular!

Hey guys, im the creator of the mod 'SecurityCraft' (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1927847-162forgev12smp-securitycraft-keypads-retinal-scanners-and-more/). This mod relies quite heavily on Forge, and i would love to have to have a sub-forum for this mod so its easier to report bugs, say suggestions, etc. Thanks guys!

The mod hasn't been active because my hard drive with the src got fromated(the registry got deleted) :P ,however after searching through the disk for many weeks I have found the source and I am fixing the major bug in the last version I posted

"you seem to be THE best modder I've seen imo."

I am the creator of Space Marine Mod. For this mod uses Forge I'd like to have this nice "Forge modder" title below my avatar.


I'll manage without a subforum for now - maybe I'll ask for it if i get 1000 downloads, but that's seems to be far away from happening - at least for now.


ohhh, I like that goal....


Once my mod gets 1000 dl, then I will pursue the FORGE MODDER title.

Until then, arent we really just FORGE HOBBYIST.

I can live without status symbols till then.


As for the SubForum..

isnt that really just a matter of how much traffic is going on in your existing thread.

Post in this thread if you would like to have a subforum for your mod. You must already have a forum thread on this forum in the Mods section, and your forum thread must be busy enough (75+ posts)



For modder support ranks:

Go to your forum profile, and under Primary Usergroup, select "Forge Modder".

I have opened up the group access to all, but please do not abuse it.

There are some great tutorials out there to get you started (e.g. Havvy's tutorials), as well as this board in general, and Google is your friend. The IRC channel #minecraftforge is always pretty active and friendly, so try there too! Have fun modding :)

I would like the forge modder status. I am working on a few different mods, including a few addons for other mods. only one of them is publicly available:




Two of my other mods are privately used in a modpack on the Feed the beast launcher called "CrinkleCraft: A World Of Horror"

If I ever say something stupid, or simply incorrect, please excuse me. I don't know anything about 1.8 modding, and I don't know much about entities either, But I try to help when I can.

    • Alright Thanks! So that's why alone what i wrote wasn't enough.
    • Hello,  So i was trying to run forge 1.18 with some mods but it just crashes and gives a -1 error code whenever I click Play World or Create New World. I tried to launch Forge alone without any mods and it worked, so there is some issue with the mod loading.  But in the crash report, it doesn't mention any issues with the mod loading at all, instead it says all mods have loaded.
