  1. This is a known issue. Watch the PR for updates: https://github.com/MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge/pull/6876
  2. We only need to know what the game version is. All the information we need is right there, sciwhiz.
  3. The PR is a request to change Forge's code. Until the green icon becomes purple (the changes are applied to Forge), the problem hasn't been fixed.
  4. That file isn't available. Paste it to pastebin.com or a similar service.
  5. Wait, no. Non [a-z0-9_.-] character in namespace of location: Derpiness_Octa:ruby Your modid has capital letters. They must be lowercase.
  6. Something is null in LCD.java, line 32. Double check what that line is doing. It looks like a constructor.
  7. Why in the name of sanity are you statically creating your objects? That's terrible. It's not compatible with most of the Forge systems. Use @ObjectHolder annotations. It'll make your life so much easier.
  8. Returning false should stop all further processing. This smells like a Forge bug. Let me do some investigations...
  9. Explain what you mean? Put a small clip on eg. streamable
  10. It looks like it's now TextFormatting.
  11. Try overriding onEntitySwing. Return false to cancel the animation.
  12. I looked through the tree for ArrowEntity. It's in ProjectileEntity, a second tier parent.
  13. Why don't you use LivingEntity#attackEntityFrom(DamageSource, float)? It calls damageEntity, and it's public.
  14. I stand corrected. public void func_234612_a_(Entity p_234612_1_, float p_234612_2_, float p_234612_3_, float p_234612_4_, float p_234612_5_, float p_234612_6_) { It looks like the mappings were lost in the update to 1.16.
  15. Does shoot(EntityPlayer, double, double, float, float, float) fit the signature of the function shoot(double, double, double, float, float) ?
  16. That doesn't fit the signature of Entity#shoot. What function is that?
  17. Spawn an arrow at the player's position, with the player's looking direction.
  18. The first three doubles define the rough direction the entity should travel toward, relative to the current position. The two sets of x,y,z (the other being the entity's current position) define the line of travel.
  19. We know. The forum server is having some minor issues. It'll subside eventually.
  20. I made a PR which should fix this issue: https://github.com/MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge/pull/6866
  21. This bug is being tracked: https://github.com/MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge/pull/6842 Please keep an eye on the PR for updates.
  22. This seems to be a framebuffer error, to do with the early launch window. We're looking into it.
