  1. You've not configured the dependancies correctly and it's not using any of the libraries from the json file forge ships. Speak with the technic people on how to properly configure mod packs for there launcher. Nothing we can do here.
  2. This doesn't tells us anything, you need to give us the full log file located in the logs folder.
  3. Again, The requirement of a JailBroken device, to target a audance that is typically made up of little kids who are on there parents hardware won't be viable. Yes, it's true that you will get a few dedicated followers. But But with all the other work that's mounted, I don't see modders even bothering to release mods for that small of a userbase. They would probably do it to entertain themselves, but meh. unless soemthing durastically changes, like I get nothing but free time, jailbrekaing becomes easier/standard, or what have you. Then i don't see forge moving over.
  4. And there in lies the problem, There is a lot we can do to make things different. The work being done on S2S is all about moving the work in updating out of one person's hands {mine} and into the end modders. But, Abrar is busy with school, I am busy with real life/legal stuff. Nobody else seems to be stepping up with the skills needed to help. We would LOVE if someone came along and sat down and fully tested S2S and started work on it's FG integration. But as I said, Abrar is busy with school. As for How you guys get a editable version of the MC code base in your projects. The goal is that you DON'T. However, nothing is stopping you from setting up a seperate project project for editable Minecraft... I wonder where oh where you could possibly get something like that... No project out there EVER needs to edit minecraft....
  5. Thats a odd error, preliminary research says that to solve it you need to reinstall java. But it's important to UNINTSTALL java THEN run the java installer.
  6. Dont bump shit -.- And the files DO exist they are in your gradle folder C:\Users\{YourUsername}\.gradle\ And again, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS post logs. But ya, don't necro.
  7. Run the jar from the command line and give us that log. Also, try giving it more memory as a guess.

  9. No, there is nothing custom there. Ya.. not really gunna teach you the basics, this is why pre-made mod packs exist until you learn how to brew one yourself. There is no issue here that we can help with.
  10. Jail broken devices as a requirement is not viable, as all but like 1% of players will be able to access it. Either way, the point still stands that Forge isn't going to pocket edition unless something major changes. Not to mention the need for Apple dev tools. But, ya, sadly when it comes to other platforms moding is possible but not feasible due to them not giving you the access you need to your own hardware -.-

  12. All of our current launchers work fine and if youre not using recomended versions youre on your own. Not to mention the fact that downloading libraries is one of the simplest things to do. not to mention we have a open source installer youre free to use. But meh, guess we can sit here doing your research for you.. or, you know, you could think about the problem yourself as its really simple. wither way you shouldnt need to use any external launcher. Just use mojangs vanilla one IT KNOWS how to download its own information correctly.

Dont use Magic launcher, or atleast dont come here for shit that it does wrong, we do not support it. it needs to download the libraries from mojang, we only download the ones that we ship with our installer and leave any that mojang ships to there installer. So ya Magic Launcher issue. Just use the vanilla launcher and youll be good. also the vanilla launcher can do anything magic launcher can if written correctly
  14. it depends on the mods you have installed. they are all programmed differently and each one of them have an effect on the overall performance. Id advise taking a look at your mods list and trying different combinations to see if you can weed out which one is causing the issue. it may also be good to start with any mod that you are around in game, or that you see on the screen. alot of mods screw up there rendering which can cause fps lag.

  17. Holy crap, you've got something wrong. First off, try killing your firewall {we hear avast has issues with minecraft} and see if it solves the netty issue. As for the graphics crash at the end.. Looks like a graphics driver issue, try updating your graphics dirver 0.o
  18. There is always a log. Be it the Development Console in the launcher, or a log file in the logs folder. As for the server issue, it looks like it's just trying to connect, a log would be useful for that as well.
  19. Yes, it's a known issue and will be fixed, however, waiting on cpw to do it as it's a issue in FML specifically. We change the data type of a variable to support >256 dimension ids. So we need to change a reference to that variable it'll be pushed to Forge soon
  20. Yes, 673885 is my ID on adfly. Pixelmon is using the correct link. There are a lot of sites thought that don't use the correct links and just use your own. We can't really do anything about them, but encourage people who see people doing that to yell at them. But it's not that big of a issue.
  21. Are you saying you want the python back? Flat out no. It's like asking us to support Win 3.11 because you don't want to update. No. If someone else wants to come along and make a python version, go for it, but I am not going to waist my time in both development and support just because you're afraid of change. Even if it is for the better. Not to mention all the benefits gradle allows us, such as immediate reaction to Mojang changes. Such as mojang changing servers. Combined with easier source, and dependancy management. And all of the extra features that gradle allows us to go beyond the python. Speed increases Easier code... etc. etc.. No, just no, embrace change rather then fear it.
