  1. You need to be more specific. Most likely you're not running the INSTALLER. So show us exactly what you're doing and how. And what EXACT files you downloaded.
  2. That is an advertisement, just download our installer by clicking the skip button on the top right.
  3. Versions specific subfolders are no longer a thing. Use the game directory option in the launcher.
  4. "Panel" is very very vague. Anyways the docs are already out there you can find it. However we're not going to help you bypass the main source of revenue that pays for the servers that people like you use to download forge. So ya... No.
  5. We expose a json file, but there is no real sane reason for you to use it.
  6. On top of that, read what you're complaining about. Some OTHER 3rd party hack/virus bundles our installer. We don't bundle it. There is nothing we can do to prevent Some rando coming along and shoving our software into their virus. We don't distribute it, and our official download page is clean. So as long as you only get Forge from us, you're fine.
  7. Specifically the "fuck you everyone should fuck you to by copy pasting my coremod" showed you have no respect for this community. And as such we are not going to give you a platform to continue to do exactly the opposite of what you are told you should do. Disrespectful, anti-opensource, anti-community mindsets are not welcome here.
  8. Some zip managers like to take control of the .jar file extension away from Java. Make sure you have Java installed and try running Jarfix once, then try the installer again.
  9. Some zip managers like to take control of the .jar file extension away from Java. Make sure you have Java installed and try running Jarfix once, then try the installer again.
  10. All of our downloads are on our download site. But to follow the rules of our site, which state we don't support older versions. You're on your own for anything to do with them.
  11. No, you should always download Forge from our site: https://files.minecraftforge.net/ If its down for you then it's something on your end. As its been running just fine.
  12. ` at com._idrae.travelers_index.client.gui.OpenIndexButtonHandler.onGuiInit(OpenIndexButtonHandler.java:27) ~[?:1.15.2-1.0.1] {re:classloading}` Travelers index is broken.
  13. 1.7 is no longer supported on this forum. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  14. Explain EXACTLY what you're doing. Post your logs. We have no idea what 'forge server thing' means. Screenshots help.
  15. The download site has been up for quite a while, if you're getting errors then its on your end and you need to actually post those errors if you want any help.
  16. What anti virus are you running? We've got reports of comodo releasing an update that isolates all java processes.
  17. 1.7 is no longer supported on this forum. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  18. 1.12 is no longer supported on this forum. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  19. Thank you for bumping a year and a half old thread to vouch for one of my moderators who has thousands of posts on this forum and was recommending a tool that is widely known/used in the community to fix jar file associations... I was scared that he was saying something wrong!
  20. I could, and I fixed it: https://github.com/MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge/commit/b6a92748708b4c336e5b6d062f8b8a257f022acd Note: Your screenshots are confusing, as it doesn't look like you're under water at all. So you must have something removing the water overlay. Took me a bit to understand what you meant by waterlogged, because waterlogged is actually a thing that blocks can be, but minecarts arnt blocks, and rails cant be waterlogged. Anyways, update and it'll be fixed.
  21. Are.. Are you asking for us to provide you tech support... On something we've politely told you twice.. we don't provide tech support on? How can we explain this any better? If you are not on a modern version. YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN FOR EVERYTHING. Update to a modern version.
  22. [13:51:52] [main/DEBUG] [ne.mi.fm.lo.mo.ModFileParser/LOADING]: Considering mod file candidate D:\Minecraft Modding\Tameables\build\resources\main Exception in thread "main" [13:51:52] [main/INFO] [STDERR/]: [java.lang.ThreadGroup:uncaughtException:1052]: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol: [13:51:52] [main/INFO] [STDERR/]: [java.lang.ThreadGroup:uncaughtException:1052]: at net.minecraftforge.fml.loading.StringUtils.toURL(StringUtils.java:51) [13:51:52] [main/INFO] [STDERR/]: [java.lang.ThreadGroup:uncaughtException:1052]: at java.util.Optional.map(Optional.java:215) [13:51:52] [main/INFO] [STDERR/]: [java.lang.ThreadGroup:uncaughtException:1052]: at net.minecraftforge.fml.loading.moddiscovery.ModInfo.<init>(ModInfo.java:89)
  23. The amount of mods shouldn't matter. It's the mods that you're adding. Considering the cpu is at 75% its not dead.. but it's not pegging.. Kinda weird. You'd have to put together the mod pack and see if others can reproduce and figure out which mod it is thats misbehaving.
  24. That is a weird one indeed... What language is your windows set to? Is it hindi? It shouldn't effect this but that's really the only thing i can think of.. Anyways, you can download and manually place those files listed in your log to bypass whatever weirdness is causing you to calculate the checksum wrong...
