  1. 'Development Console' tab in your launcher.
  2. Fixed here. It will be in Forge next time FML is synced {should be new few hours as i'm doing some other bugs right now.}
  3. Actual logs please we need to see the stacks and loaded mods.
  4. Tracking down random bugs like this is difficult, only thing we can say is read your console logs carefully, there may be hints in there 'Wrong location' 'corrupt' things like that. Also try and find a way to reproduce it reliably. Then try killing off your mods 1 by one and seeing if it stops happenening at a certian mod.
  5. -Dminecraft.applet.TargetDirectory=C:\Users\Lex\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\151 Try that in the JVM args. Or you may need to find some wrapper. The older versions were created before the new launcher so there was no way we could predict how they would work. Combine that with the fat that we officially don't support them, we havent written a wrapper around them for the new launcher.
  6. We need logs and a more detailed explinations. Though a lot of these connection issues should of been fixed name sure you're running the latest version.
  7. No you should tell him to run the mod like normal as a client, and just create a directory based texture pack and fiddle with that. You can swap textures packs mid-game so it'd be easier then setting up a IDE.
  8. OS X Mavericks, (10.9) is free to upgrade to, you may want to tell the owner/admin of your PC that upgrading is a good idea. Either way, our launcher and Forge works on Java 6, as long as it was installed correctly.
  9. Its not a mess, more tasks != mess. Would you rather us bundle everything into a single task and make you have to rerun EVERYTHING every time you setup your env? As it sits, all you have to care about are the setup* tasks.
  10. Seems you're having internet connection issues and cant connect to the skins servers.
  11. Any particular reason you're using the deprecated java 6? Instead of java 7?
  12. Use the gradle versions of the src. The old python versions are not supported anymore as Mojang's servers have changed, thus fucking over the python.
  13. This appears to be something wrong with the way you have java installed, only thing I could find with a real solution was this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/19715151/unable-to-run-threaded-java-jar-file-on-mac-os-x-10-6-8-with-java-1-7-0-45-using It's crashing in XCode level, in the java launcher, not on our end.
  14. BackTools is a client mod. It will not work on the server, It's fairly obvious if you read the end of your log.
  15. Officially, the answer is that you can't We are trying to drive home the point that modders SHOULD NOT be editing base classes. However, if you're smart enough to setup project dependancies, and know how to keep your code seperate from the minecraft code then there is nothing stopping you from doing it. Go forth and figure it out!
  16. Use 964 and kill your AV.
  17. The link is in your log... 5 times... Jesus... The issue is something is preventing your launcher from talking to the mojang servers. Check your firewalls.
  18. Its --nogui not /nogui -.- Also it shouldnt take up 1/2 a gig, but whatever, we don't change anything. Either way, what you're trying to do is impossible. Forge Can Not Run On Bukkit. Go for MCPC for that.
  19. ... The src download DOES include gradlew what are you talking about? If it doesn't you're not using the gradle version of the src. {Meaning, you're not using 1.7.2 or using 953-}
  20. It seems to be on servers that are behind bungeecord, {or similar multi-server proxies}, but only SOME of them. We're looking into it. connecting to vanilla servers should work just fine.
  21. Use the installer, And/Or read the eaq.
  22. Abrar derped up again and Bitched at him about it, it's fixed now.
  23. Use the installer. Those files are not downloadble from our servers directly. the installer gets the compressed versions.
  24. Locked for being a compleetly useless report.
  25. MMC needs to update for our json formats.
